Nothing New

Shed no more tears Alicia! Because the update is here! It's been forever since I've wrote on this thing. Nothing much new. Let's see. I got a chi, some new cute clothes and a pair of BCBG heels and a pair of Steve Madden wedges. My sister got me the shoes and they are soooo cute! I love them! I do have the best sister in the world. Too bad I didn't get to see her before she left.

I shot a bow the other day...It was quite an expeirece. At first they told me to aim for the "green thing" and I didn't see one so I just shot...and I hit the sack but not a target. Then after they showed me where the "green thing" was I hit it right on the bull's eye. Jason said I was born to hunt because I'm pretty decent at shooting a gun and then the bow but I just don't think I could bring myself to do it. Did I mention I went skeet shooting a while back ago? I didn't think I would hit anything but I hit the first one they threw out for me! I was essited! lol. They couldn't believe it.

Work's been good I guess. I think I'm going to ask for more hours so I can save up money faster. I don't know...I'm pretty lazy.

Tomorrow Jason should be getting me the thing to fix my cd player. It got jacked up somehow (I think someone tried to steal it) and so I don't have any music in my truck! It's driving me insane! I'll be so happy to get it back!

The other night I went out to club/bar whatever it is with my sister, Natalie and Cade. It was pretty fun. I felt bad because this guy came up to me and asked me to dance and I told him I didn't dance but a couple songs later Cade drug me out on the dance floor. I bet he was like "stupid B****" but oh well. I'll prolly never see him again. I danced with Clayton and Conn...I just noticed that all the guys I danced with have names that start with C.

Jason and are doing good. I'm at my house right now and I miss him really bad. But you know...in January we'll have been together for 2 years. How crazy is that? I don't want to go to work tomorrow. Monday's are usually my day off but I had the weekend off so it's all screwed up. Oh well...it's only for a little bit.

My parents think someone tried to break into our house because the window looks like it's been messed with. This is exactly why I really want to get a gun.

Anyway, I think I'm going to go for a drive because I'm that bored.

Take care,

Ana

Well Jason picked me up. I'm still kind of messed up from the time change. It sucks.

My parents are looking into buying me a new car! I is essited! hehe.

And btw, I am taken. I wish losers would quit trying to get me to "hit them up" how lame.

Well Jason is watching t.v. right now. We spent the night here last night since we fell asleep on the couch. I guess I'd better get off the computer and go in there.

It feels good to be home! It feels good to eat normal food!

Home

So by 8 o clock tomorrow evening...Jason will be picking me up from the airport. By early afternoon on Thursday, I will officially be reunited with my family and home. Yay!

So yesterday we got up and got ready. Won brought me the laundry she did for me. It was so funny because she was like "They're so small! I had a hard time folding them" talking about my thongs. I explained to her that I didn't fold them, just heaped them in a pile and she was like "Gosh!"

And I pulled a Dustin and put my shoes on in my room. After I walked into the living room and seen Won ready to go with just her socks on I immediately pulled my shoes off. I felt like the biggest idiot. So we set off and met up with Ju and her friend Sang. (I couldn't remember/pronounce her name.)

We ate at Dunkin' Doughnuts where Ju bought a drink that she brought with her on the subway. This is where it gets weird folks--She had practically finished it and sat it on the ground to throw away later, when this man comes in and grabs it. We watched in horror as he drank what little of it was left. After that, he set it on the ground and smashed it with his foot and put it in his pocket. He then proceeds to set down by Ju and place his hands on his ears. I couldn't hear what he was saying but he was mumbling to himself. Anyway, he left after a while and all was well again. Clearly he was out of his mind in some way. I felt very sorry for him and it scared me to think that perhaps he was traveling alone?

So we went "shopping." I put quotation marks around it because I feel like I shouldn't call it that. Maybe "looking" would be the right word. They walked so fast I barely had time to look much less stop and think about buying something. On the street this man kind of got in my face and kept saying "Wonderful! Wonderful!" Ju said that she thought he was trying to say "beautiful" I thought it was funny and cute of him.

We took the subway again to the Palace where the king used to live.
While on the train, this man was walking by and stopped right in front of me. He just kept staring it was so weird. He seriously looked me up and down for about the longest 30 seconds of my life. The palace was beautiful but we had to leave because some important people were showing up for some reason. They pulled up in a very formal, black car and I said, "Is that the President?!?!" just joking around.

After that we went on a boat ride. We ate at KFC which only sells chicken burgers and french fries here. How weird is that? Jason said it wasn't chicken it was cat. Kentucky Fried Cat. How gross. Then we went on a boat ride it was beautiful.

After that we went home. We rode on the subway. I pulled out some stuff out of my purse when I was buying my ticket and I left it on the counter. Luckily it wasn't stuff of any real importance but I did leave the photo booth pictures we had taken there. And I liked them so much. But Won said we can take them again. I hope they're even better this time.

We didn't go to Ju's house because her uncle came to stay with the family. That's really fine with me I'd prefer to stay at Won's. Won's is less crowded. And we see Ju everyday so it's not a big deal. Plus at Won's I have the computer in my room and I get to talk to Jason as much as I want. It's hard to work around the time change but we've managed it. I stayed up until four in the morning talking to him last night. It was so awesome we had a great conversation. I miss him so much :( Hopefully he'll get to come pick me up from the airport. We trying our best to work that out. I think we'll prolly rent a motel room that night too because I don't think I'd be able to stand the long drive home with my butt being so sore from the 15 hour plane ride.

Anyway. Today I think is just a day for relaxation which is fine by me. I'm so glad to have some time to just lay around.

Which is exactly what I'm going to do. Get off here and lay around.

I Heart Seoul!

So let's see if I can remember what has happened in the past couple of days. The first night we stayed at Won's we went to N Seoul Tower. It was 236 meters high and so beautiful. All you could see for miles and miles around was beautiful city...not something I'm used to. We met one of Won's friends named Matilda who was just amazed by me for some reason. She thought I was so pretty she was so shy that she wouldn't hardly talk. Not that it mattered anyway because she didn't speak English so it was just less translating Won would have to do. Then we went to the city and walked around for a while looking at the shops. I swear if I lived here I would have a new outfit everyday...everything's so cheap I just want to spend all my money but I need to wait until right before I leave to make sure I don't run out lol. We ate at a small pizza place. It had pictures of famous people that had ate there (mainly Korean) and I tried to get Won and Ju to tell the people I was a famous Spanish soap actress to get my picture on the wall but they wouldn't.

The next day the three of us met up with Jennifer and her brother to go to Lotte World. It was sang sang chor. Part of it was underground, part of it in a building and part outside. We rode so many roller coasters. I swear the rides here are longer and faster than the ones in America. Jason said that when we go to Florida we'll go to Busch Gardens so I can tell him if the ones in Korea are still better. The place was gorgeous though...there were air balloon rides attached to the ceiling, a trapeze act, a fireworks show, and below was an ice skating rink. What sucks so bad is that I know that I'm not describing it very well. Ice skating was fun, although I'm not very good at it. I would've felt better if I would've had Jason there to help me instead of Won and Ju who kept trying to strand me so I would skate by myself lol.

Then Won hit her head again. As she was rounding the corner she knocked into a light fixture that was attached to the middle of a column. I didn't see it happen but I was right behind her so when I saw her squating on the ground clutching her head and the light fixture shaking I could put two and two together and I laughed so hard. We told her we were going to make her wear a helmut.

The crazy thing is we saw some people we had a seen a couple days before at Everworld. I think they are from Russia. Anyway, I thought it was kind of strange that we had seen them in a town an hour and a half away just days before and they showed up the same day we did at Lotte World.

Oops I accidently posted this before I finished so here it goes again lol.

Dustin still keeps trying to wear his shoes inside the house.

Yesterday we slept in which felt great. The days have been long and involve a lot of walking. Usually up stairs. I think Korea has more stairs then anywhere else in the world lol. I feel like I've lost weight although I'm not sure since I don't have a scale. Before I left America I had lost about 9 pound. I feel like I've lost some more though. I haven't been eating very good and we're constantly on the go, constantly walking. I don't really like the food here, and nothing tastes the same except for McDonald's.

Won insisted on trying to kill us lol. She drove us around and I must say she is alright considering we haven't died. She might need to work on the parking though because it's kinda scary. I said "They must've not included parking in your driving test huh?" just teasing but it turns out I was right.

Then we made fun of the time that Mrs. Cole tried to teach Won how to play softball...she told Won to put the glove on her head and asked her if she was ready. Won had it on her head and was like "I'm ready!!" everytime I think about that I crack up laughing and Won hits me after I tell her what's so funny. It's hard not to make fun of exchange students though. Dustin told me and Tanny about how there were some exchange students from Europe here a while back and how when they first came here they got scared from the animal's sounds at night. That made me laugh too...I mean how stupid is that?

We went to an American Village which wasn't that great. They make us out to be boring. We walked around the outdoor shopping mall and took some more photobooth pictures. They are so funny I love them. After that we went to the cutest little cafe that Matilda works at. We met three other girls there and got our drinks for free. The place was completely empty it felt like an episode of "Friends." The girls were so funny they thought that Dustin was "so handsome" and I was "so beautiful" One girl even stood her boyfriend up just so she could come meet us.

Today Ju's parents took us to the ocean. It was great although I didn't get in. I walked along and picked up seashells and drew in the sand. Made fun of the girls that showed up to the beach dressed up and in high heels (seriously wtf?!?!?) We ate lunch at a place off the shore that sold seafood. I hate seafood so this was kind of a problem. Dustin tried a little bit but I refused because I just can't stand it. It was cool how the table had a hole in it and they put this hot grill for you to cook as many as you want. I just stuck to noodles and a ham and cheese sandwhich.

Dustin and I had a scary expierence with the public showers. We didn't realize that there would be anybody naked in them. I went just to wash off my feet and I walked in to see a naked Korean woman bent over washing her feet. After I came out and sat down, Dustin told me he seen something to the same effect except it was a man. So we're kind of messed up for life now lol. Which reminds me, today I was taking a shower and as I was washing my hair I look over and the door had came open! I was like omg because they have no shower curtain I was afraid somebody had walked by but luckily nobody did.

On the way home Ju's little brother kept staring at Dustin's legs and finally he said "they're just so hairy!" (In Korean) and reached down to touch them. It's the second time that Dustin's legs have been molested since we have been here. I told him to just stick to wearing pants from now on.

Dustin, Ju, and Won went out to a movie but I stayed in to rest. Plus I'm a little bit homesick so I wanted to talk to Jason. I miss him so bad. He's been so good to me while I've been gone. We constantly leave each other offlines and talk twice a day. He even talks to my mom probably once a day lol. He's the best boyfriend I've ever had.

But anyway, I was just thinking that this trip has been a lot of firsts..

First time to:
Leave the country without my parents.
Fly in an airplane.
Take a bus (not counting a school bus)
Take a subway.
See the ocean.
Go ice skating.
Take the subway.
Take a taxi.

There are more but I just can't remember all of them.

Dustin was trying to count all the different methods of transportation we have taken:

Airplane
Taxi
Bus
Subway
Cablecar.
Ski-lift.
Regular car.

And I think there are a couple more than that. But I'm too tired to try to think anymore.

Toodles!
