So let's see if I can remember what has happened in the past couple of days. The first night we stayed at Won's we went to N Seoul Tower. It was 236 meters high and so beautiful. All you could see for miles and miles around was beautiful city...not something I'm used to. We met one of Won's friends named Matilda who was just amazed by me for some reason. She thought I was so pretty she was so shy that she wouldn't hardly talk. Not that it mattered anyway because she didn't speak English so it was just less translating Won would have to do. Then we went to the city and walked around for a while looking at the shops. I swear if I lived here I would have a new outfit everyday...everything's so cheap I just want to spend all my money but I need to wait until right before I leave to make sure I don't run out lol. We ate at a small pizza place. It had pictures of famous people that had ate there (mainly Korean) and I tried to get Won and Ju to tell the people I was a famous Spanish soap actress to get my picture on the wall but they wouldn't.
The next day the three of us met up with Jennifer and her brother to go to Lotte World. It was sang sang chor. Part of it was underground, part of it in a building and part outside. We rode so many roller coasters. I swear the rides here are longer and faster than the ones in America. Jason said that when we go to Florida we'll go to Busch Gardens so I can tell him if the ones in Korea are still better. The place was gorgeous though...there were air balloon rides attached to the ceiling, a trapeze act, a fireworks show, and below was an ice skating rink. What sucks so bad is that I know that I'm not describing it very well. Ice skating was fun, although I'm not very good at it. I would've felt better if I would've had Jason there to help me instead of Won and Ju who kept trying to strand me so I would skate by myself lol.
Then Won hit her head again. As she was rounding the corner she knocked into a light fixture that was attached to the middle of a column. I didn't see it happen but I was right behind her so when I saw her squating on the ground clutching her head and the light fixture shaking I could put two and two together and I laughed so hard. We told her we were going to make her wear a helmut.
The crazy thing is we saw some people we had a seen a couple days before at Everworld. I think they are from Russia. Anyway, I thought it was kind of strange that we had seen them in a town an hour and a half away just days before and they showed up the same day we did at Lotte World.
Oops I accidently posted this before I finished so here it goes again lol.
Dustin still keeps trying to wear his shoes inside the house.
Yesterday we slept in which felt great. The days have been long and involve a lot of walking. Usually up stairs. I think Korea has more stairs then anywhere else in the world lol. I feel like I've lost weight although I'm not sure since I don't have a scale. Before I left America I had lost about 9 pound. I feel like I've lost some more though. I haven't been eating very good and we're constantly on the go, constantly walking. I don't really like the food here, and nothing tastes the same except for McDonald's.
Won insisted on trying to kill us lol. She drove us around and I must say she is alright considering we haven't died. She might need to work on the parking though because it's kinda scary. I said "They must've not included parking in your driving test huh?" just teasing but it turns out I was right.
Then we made fun of the time that Mrs. Cole tried to teach Won how to play softball...she told Won to put the glove on her head and asked her if she was ready. Won had it on her head and was like "I'm ready!!" everytime I think about that I crack up laughing and Won hits me after I tell her what's so funny. It's hard not to make fun of exchange students though. Dustin told me and Tanny about how there were some exchange students from Europe here a while back and how when they first came here they got scared from the animal's sounds at night. That made me laugh too...I mean how stupid is that?
We went to an American Village which wasn't that great. They make us out to be boring. We walked around the outdoor shopping mall and took some more photobooth pictures. They are so funny I love them. After that we went to the cutest little cafe that Matilda works at. We met three other girls there and got our drinks for free. The place was completely empty it felt like an episode of "Friends." The girls were so funny they thought that Dustin was "so handsome" and I was "so beautiful" One girl even stood her boyfriend up just so she could come meet us.
Today Ju's parents took us to the ocean. It was great although I didn't get in. I walked along and picked up seashells and drew in the sand. Made fun of the girls that showed up to the beach dressed up and in high heels (seriously wtf?!?!?) We ate lunch at a place off the shore that sold seafood. I hate seafood so this was kind of a problem. Dustin tried a little bit but I refused because I just can't stand it. It was cool how the table had a hole in it and they put this hot grill for you to cook as many as you want. I just stuck to noodles and a ham and cheese sandwhich.
Dustin and I had a scary expierence with the public showers. We didn't realize that there would be anybody naked in them. I went just to wash off my feet and I walked in to see a naked Korean woman bent over washing her feet. After I came out and sat down, Dustin told me he seen something to the same effect except it was a man. So we're kind of messed up for life now lol. Which reminds me, today I was taking a shower and as I was washing my hair I look over and the door had came open! I was like omg because they have no shower curtain I was afraid somebody had walked by but luckily nobody did.
On the way home Ju's little brother kept staring at Dustin's legs and finally he said "they're just so hairy!" (In Korean) and reached down to touch them. It's the second time that Dustin's legs have been molested since we have been here. I told him to just stick to wearing pants from now on.
Dustin, Ju, and Won went out to a movie but I stayed in to rest. Plus I'm a little bit homesick so I wanted to talk to Jason. I miss him so bad. He's been so good to me while I've been gone. We constantly leave each other offlines and talk twice a day. He even talks to my mom probably once a day lol. He's the best boyfriend I've ever had.
But anyway, I was just thinking that this trip has been a lot of firsts..
First time to: Leave the country without my parents. Fly in an airplane. Take a bus (not counting a school bus) Take a subway. See the ocean. Go ice skating. Take the subway. Take a taxi.
There are more but I just can't remember all of them.
Dustin was trying to count all the different methods of transportation we have taken:
Airplane Taxi Bus Subway Cablecar. Ski-lift. Regular car.
And I think there are a couple more than that. But I'm too tired to try to think anymore.
